Teaching has been an important part of my experience as an artist. As a teacher, I benefit in many ways, from keeping myself thinking thru painting problems, critiquing, researching, listening, and making new friends, all sharing a love of painting.

Again my students have exhibited growth and accomplishment this year. Some showed their work at Spoleto in Charleston, others in galleries, and all have been exhibiting their work in our annual student art show, which for the past few years has been held at Haven's Picture Framing in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Everyone is invited.
